THe Rhythm of a heart
My first branch out into experimental filmmaking. The Rhythm of a Heart follows the build, climax and eventual decay of a passionate relationship by using buildings as visual metaphors. Intimate body imagery strikes the viewer as the relationship peaks in intensity, contrasting the harsh lines of city architecture, suggesting the relationship’s incompatibility with the outside world.
THe silent struggle
My Role: Director
My own personal struggle with endometriosis led to me creating and directing The Silent Struggle. This short documentary explores two women’s battles with this condition, the gender bias in the UK health system and the necessary changes that must be made to make healthcare more accessible and fair.
reconnect
An experimental 5x5 film exploring the need for humans to integrate nature into even our most urban areas. We need to Reconnect to our roots, as we are all part of nature ourselves.
